Missy convinces Nas to make a play for her teacher Lila, but Nas is served a curveball when her dad announces that he has other plans for her. Confused and emotional, Nas appeals to Lila for help but Lila draws a line under their friendship. Elsewhere a guilt-stricken Mandy ends things with Sadiq and throws herself back into her marriage. Emma discovers that the object of her affection, Samir, is engaged. Cory's attempts to help Riz with the opposite sex understandably backfire.

Ackley Bridge Show Summary

Due to budget cuts in a Yorkshire mill town, this series follows the lives of people affected by a merger of two schools in a largely segregated British and Asian community. Filled with thought-provoking topics of racism, poverty, bullying, sexuality and violence, this drama is based on real life cases of schools that have merged.
