When Ed Wuncler (the owner of Granddad's house) invites Granddad and the kids to his garden party, Huey tries to start trouble by saying Jesus was black and he compares Ronald Regan to the devil. Meanwhile, Riley and the owner's grandson (a solider back from Iraq) play withballoons and Granddad runs into the self-loathing black butler Uncle Rukus.

When the trial of R&B star R. Kelly comes to town and Tom Dubois is the ADA, Huey and Riley are on opposing sides of the hot-button "underage peeing" issue. Elsewhere, during a checkers game, Granddad and Uncle Ruckus argue about white people.

Huey and Riley try to convince Granddad that his new girlfriend Cristal (named after the champagne) is actually a prostitute. Of course, Granddad doesn't believe them, even when she spends all his money. But when A Pimp Named Slickback shows up, the truth is revealed.

Granddad gets in a fight with the old and blind Colonel Stinkmeaner. He then has a hard time coming to terms with what happened and has to suffer being taunted by Riley.

Tom Dubois is accused of being an elusive hugger so Huey must find the real hugger, before a repeat of what happened to Tom in the past reoccurs.

Riley visits his favorite rapper, Gangstalicious, in hospital after the rapper is shot and realises not all gangsters are as "hard" as they like to make out in their songs.

As Jazmine prepares for Santa, Huey is the director of the school's Christmas play titled - what else - The Adventures of Black Jesus. Meanwhile, Uncle Ruckus becomes the mall's new Santa Claus after Riley attacks the other ones.

Granddad, following the guidance of Riley, tries to scam two reality television shows, but things don't go as planned. Meanwhile, Huey becomes convinced the government is stalking him.

Martin Luther King awakes from a coma after 32 years and finds post-September 11th America very different.

Granddad opens a soul food restaurant in Woodcrest called "The Itis" with financial backing from Ed Wuncler.

Riley, Gin Rummy and Ed Wuncler III attempt to kidnap Oprah, though Huey learns of their plan and sets upon stopping them.

Granddad sends Riley to an art teacher after concluding his obsession with graffiti has gone far enough. Huey decides to watch black TV for two weeks after hearing that a woman died from watching too much black TV.

Granddad returns to his old home after his World War II friend Moe dies. Meanwhile, Huey has a chance to reconnect with an old friend. Soon Granddad and Huey must learn to leave the past behind after things don't go as planned.

It's February and there are record temperatures of 90 degrees outside. Luckily, Jazmine has her lemonade stand open, and does pretty well. Her success catches the eye of corporate tycoon Ed Wuncler. Despite several warnings from Huey, Jazmine then learns the true meaning of "capitalism" when Wuncler decides to buy the stand.

Ruckus spreads the word of White Jesus after he is diagnosed with cancer. Meanwhile, Huey tries to save a friend from passing row.
