Life goes on after the tragic deaths of Hank and Dean. Meanwhile, the Monarch deals with life "inside" but you can't keep a good criminal mastermind down. But will King Gorilla prove to be his greatest ally, or his worst betrayer?
Aided by Henchman 21, 24, and a ragtag band of roughneck new recruits, the Monarch attempts to rebuild his villainous empire and rekindle his relationship with Dr. Girlfriend. A showdown at the local shopping mall forces his hand, and he struggles to choose between revenge and reconciliation amidst a sea of violence. Meanwhile a wounded Brock falls into the clutches of The Phantom Limb, Hank drives Brock's car, and Dr. Venture gets an eye full.
When Brock is reactivated by the Office of Secret Intelligence to track down a rogue agent, he subcontracts his malevolent ex-girlfriend, the mercenary Molotov Cocktease, to protect the Venture compound from enemies within and without. Love is in the air! Or is it...hug?
Team Venture find themselves trapped in the clutches of a bloodthirsty Egyptian cult and their time machine. Dr. Venture narrowly escapes and teams up with Master Billy Quizboy and Pete White, but promptly forgets to mount a rescue. So it's up to Brock and a pantheon of history's greatest men to find another way out.
Brock's discovery of a lost videotape from Jonas Venture Sr. sends the team across the globe to find four vital components needed to save the world. Now all they have to do is overcome a strung-out Jonny Quest, a blissed-out Colonel Gentleman, and a paranoid Professor Impossible. While the Grand Galactic Inquisitor watches over them all.
Hilarity ensues when the Phantom Limb and Dr. Girlfriend try to patch up their differences with the Monarch by going on a double-date with him and his Internet date.
The Venture team crashes the X-1 in the Űnderland, and is captured by the villainous...Baron Űnderbheit!
Dr. Orpheus finally makes the big-time when the Guild of Calamitous Intent announce he's finally ready for an arch-villain. While Orpheus assembles his former team of fellow heroes, villain tryouts are held at the Venture Compound, Dr. Venture suffers bouts of jealousy, Hank and Dean entertain Trianna but lose her, the Monarch tries to find solace in the arms of a prostitute, and Henchmen 21 and 24 decide on a new career as "arches."
The Ventures are invited to a White House state dinner in honor of Colonel Bud Manstrong. But they are (mostly) unaware of a fiendish plot to assassinate the President, and only Lincoln's Ghost can save them!
Dr. Venture is haunted by a Oni spirit and goes to Dr. Orpheus for help. The boys are kidnapped by a woman claiming to be their mother. And the Monarch tries a change in management.
Dr. Venture decides to go into the dead-body resurrection business, while the Groovy Gang investigate the compound and Dr. Orpheus holds a death-vine ritual.
Dr. Girlfriend finally accepts the Monarch's wedding proposal... if he calls off his grudge with Dr. Venture. He agrees, but things take a turn for the worse when his henchmen mistakenly capture Team Venture, while the Phantom Limb vows not to take his break-up lightly.
The Phantom Limb attacks! The Monarch and the Ventures must team up to defeat him and recover Dr. Girlfriend. While Brock rallies the Monarch's minions, Dean wanders the power engine hallucinating that the is a noble warrior, David Bowie is turned into a pack of cigarettes, Hank tries to prove his manhood in battle, Dr. Venture wonders why the Monarch's base is a giant cocoon, and the Phantom Limb assumes control of the Guild as its new Sovereign.
