Ellis Season 2 Episode 1 Synopsis
Ellis and her assistant DS Harper find themselves in the tiny village of Ashenham, where the body of a local businessman and philanthropist has been found. The victim was a beloved local figure but his plans to launch a prison release work scheme had caused outrage, with many locals angered by the thought of criminals integrating into their idyllic community. Before long, the local officers narrow in on a prime suspect and briing the case to a close - but Ellis is not convinced and continues to dig.

Ellis Show Summary
DCI Ellis, a tenacious cop, is parachuted into failing investigations alongside her partner DS Harper. Each case will bring her to a different police station where she'll have to not only immerse herself in the case, but also win over the local police.
