When during a difficult pregnancy, God tells Rebekah that her older twin son will serve the younger, Isaac stands by that the older Esau is the rightful heir. However, as the boys grow into men, Rebekah realizes that she must defy and deceive Isaac to fulfill God's plan to ensure that Jacob becomes the rightful heir
