The Forsyte Saga Synopsis
The lives, loves, trials and triumphs of a wealthy late Victorian stockbroking family, whose generations are torn between the tradition and self-sacrifice versus personal happiness and the pursuit of love. A wealthy solicitor becomes obsessed with a woman who rejects him despite his riches. After they marry, she remains distant, driving him to extreme lengths to control her. Family stability is threatened by two chance encounters for rival cousins, Jolyon and Soames, throwing their previously steady lives into disarray, in this epic early-20th-century family saga.
