Having anticipated Huw's plan, Patrick flees during a tense drive across the moors. Huw lies to Jenny about his escape and Margot visits, furious with her father for nearly going through with it. Hunted and running out of time, Huw tracks Patrick to the abandoned farmhouse, where a devastating truth is revealed and Patrick delivers his final, cruel masterstroke.
