The Glades Season 1 Episode 5 Synopsis

Longworth gets a nightmarish call from Daniel that Carlos has been found dead. Longworth is speechless and horrified at the site of his face-down dead body, but not as horrified as the real Carlos who is alive and pissed off. Thanks to his daughter's internet shopping addiction, he was the victim of identity fraud by the cuddle victim. Longworth tracks the victim to the fake-Carlos' girlfriend who is a social anthropology doctoral student who has many research subjects who are emotionally attached to her. Longworth tracks down each of her subjects in his quest to find the real hugger.

The Glades Show Summary

The Glades follows Jim Longworth, as an employee for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement who doesn't like to play by the book. Jim, a police officer recently transferred from Chicago after an altercation with his Captain when the Captain suspected Jim of sleeping with his wife.

Jim finds Palm Glade, a nice town of sunshine and golf, a trait Jim loves to partake in. Carlos Sanchez, a medical examiner who is forced to work with Jim, gets along with him and together they get along and find common ground to work together.

Jim, thinking that Palm Glade is going to be a relaxing time, is woken up to a sleepy town that is not that sleepy after all. Along the way Jim meets Callie, an attractive nurse with a past that intrigues Jim.
