In his traditional much-loved New Year's Eve show, Graham takes a look back at some of the most memorable stories, people and events of 2023, with the help of a glittering sofa of guests: Hollywood stars Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo, together in black comedy Poor Things, Strictly host Claudia Winkleman, returning in a new series of hit show The Traitors, celebrity chef Nadiya Hussain, whose mouth-watering new book is Nadiya's Simple Spices and comedy great Rob Brydon, on tour with A Night of Songs and Laughter. With music from one of this year's stand-out bands, the Mercury Prize-winning Ezra Collective, who perform Victory Dance, and end-of-the-year stories in the world-famous Big Red Chair.
Graham Norton returns to the format he's most comfortable with since his Channel 4 days, briefly on BBC2 and now on prime time BBC1. Each week celebrity guest(s) join Graham to discuss what's being going on around the world that week.
The guests poke fun and share their opinions on the main news stories that have happened. Graham is often joined by a band or artist to play the show out with. Throughout series one the show was recorded on the Wednesday at 7pm before it's transmission at 10pm on the Thursday.
