The Sunshine Murders Season 1 Episode 1 Synopsis

When Greek detective Helen Moustakas is approached by New Zealand farmer Shirley Rangi, who claims to be her half-sister, she is reluctant to believe her, but agrees to a DNA test. Helen is called to investigate the passing of an archaeologist - a mystery which Shirley proves unexpectedly, although accidentally, helpful in solving.

The Sunshine Murders Show Summary

An unlikely crime fighting duo made up of two very different sisters. Shirley, a farmer from New Zealand and in search of her father, travels to Athens and meets her half-sister and detective, Helen. Shirley soon starts to help Helen solve crimes with her 'bush' wisdom and wit while they try to find their missing father.
