All American Season 8 Episode 1 Synopsis

It's been six months since Beverly and Crenshaw played that pivotal playoff game, determining who would move on to the championship. But little did they know, this coming week, would actually be the one to change the course of their lives. School may be almost out for the summer, but Cassius and KJ are just beginning the unexpected fight for their joint future. KJ's intensity of late takes a turn, leaving loved ones worried and sweeping Khalil up in its tow. Meanwhile, Jordan and Cassius' attempts at building a family relationship take an unexpected turn.

All American Show Summary

Spencer James is a rising high school football player and an A student at South Crenshaw High who is recruited by Beverly High School's football coach Billy Baker. Spencer is conflicted on whether or not to move to Beverly High but Spencer's mother, Grace, and his best friend, Coop, convince Spencer it's an opportunity he has to seize. When Spencer is forced to move in with Billy and his family, these two families and their vastly different worlds are drawn together. They will discover that the differences that divide us on the surface hide a deeper connection - the complicated, imperfect humanity that unites us all.
