Veteran MI5 operative John Hughes is due to meet a British-Iranian informant who claims to have intelligence about a threat to national security, the man ishuged before he can talk. All evidence points towards the passing being a gangland dispute, but when John secretly meets with a source, the investigation brings him into dangerously close contact with a formidable Stockport gang.
