Ant and Dec return to host the 13th series of the nationwide talent search, joined by judging panel. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams. An assortment of acts from across the Uk will be displaying their talents, hoping to win the grand prize of £250,000 and the opportunity to appear at the Royal Variety Performance. As in previous years, each judge, as well as Ant and Dec, have the option to send one contestant straight through to the live semi-finals as their Golden Buzzer act.

As the auditions for the 13th series of Britain's Got Talent draw to a close, we see the remaining few acts take to the stage. Who has what it takes to be the next BGT star?.

Ant and Dec host the first semi-final of this year's contest, with the audition process having left judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon with 40 acts to pick from. Tonight, eight of them will be performing live in the hope of impressing both the panel and the TV audience to win one of the two spots in the live grand final, where the winning act will receive a life-changing £250,000 prize and a spot at this year's Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium Theatre in November.

With the votes counted, Ant and Dec reveal who will take their place in the final as the two winning acts from tonight's show take a step closer to that slot at the Royal Variety Performance in November.
