As Jane's theater class works on finding a play to produce, she and Declan begin flirting with one another. Unsure of what to do after Spinner invites her to move into his new loft, she turns to Manny for advice and as a result, decides to break up with him. Jane soon has a change of heart when Spinner informs her that the band voted to let her become their new singer. Meanwhile, KC bonds with the new basketball coach when Coach Carson shows him some pointers to improve his game. However, when the coach pulls him out of the next game, KC starts to think he is an awful player and wants to quit the team, but has a change of heart after talking to the coach.
