When scatterbrain mother Francie, a new parent at Ritchie's school, comes to Christine for guidance, she begins to consider Christine as her 'rock', much to Christine's flattery. But soon, Christine tires of the responsibility of being responsible for Francie all of the time.

The New Adventures of Old Christine is a new comedy about a 35-year-old divorced mom w ho runs a 30-minute female-only gym with Ali, trys to keep pace with everyone around her. That includes the judgmental stay-at-home moms at her son's private school and her ex-husband, Richard. His new girlfiend, whose name is also Christine. Old Christine's brother, Matthew lives with her.
