When Frasier discovers that Martin never mailed in the insurance renewal for his apartment, he is in a panic to get new insurance. Roz suggests that Frasier make amends with Ann (from episode 11x05 - The Placeholder) by buying the insurance from her. Ann reluctantly agrees to assess Frasier's apartment but while there, slips in Frasier's kitchen and breaks her leg. Worried that Ann will sue him, Frasier suggests that she stay with him until she gets used to her crutches. However, Ann is convinced that Frasier is in love with her, and refuses to leave.
Meanwhile, Niles and Daphne try to retrieve an embarrassing painting from Maris's house.

Frasier Show Summary

After many years spent at the "Cheers" bar, Frasier moves back home to Seattle after his policeman father Martin Crane gets shot in the hip on duty. After Martin struggles with living alone after the incident, he moves in with Frasier in his luxury apartment at the Elliot Bay Towers along with his dog Eddie. Hired by Frasier, Daphne Moon also moves in as Martin's personal physiotherapist. Also living nearby is his younger brother Niles Crane, who is also a Psychiatrist.

Frasier's new life in Seattle beings when he is employed by a radio station to offer therapy in a call-in manner. Produced by Roz Doyle, who becomes Frasier's friend, Frasier handles the everyday problems or people... sometimes uninteresting and even frustrating to Frasier but his ultimate goal will stay the same he wants to and enjoys helping people.
